Forget winter! It's time for a charming summer musical when an ensemble group from MCCC's Tomato Patch and Kelsey Players presents "Disney's Camp Rock." This feel-good musical is based on Disney's hit TV movie and features more than a dozen songs. Dates and show times are: Friday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 11 and 12 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college’s West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

"Camp Rock" captures the joys, angst and ambitions of a group of teens pursuing their dreams of making it in the glittering world of rock entertainment. Enter Mitchie, a poor girl with lots of talent who desperately wants to spend her summer at an expensive music camp. The closest she can manage is taking classes while she works in the camp's kitchen alongside her mother. Befriended by some of her peers, but intimidated by others, she begins leading a double life, posing as a well-off camper to become part of the hot clique. When Mitchie is overheard singing in the kitchen by Shane Gray, one of the camp's star performers, he launches a search to figure out the identity of the person behind the beautiful voice. Is Mitchie ready to be discovered? What will it take for her to put aside her fears and take her rightful place in the spotlight?

“Camp Rock” features a high energy cast from around the region.  Cast members includes Noah Barson of Richboro, Pa., as Nate; Madelyn Curtin of Lawrenceville as Peggy; Kaitlynn Ely of Hightstown as Rosie; Michelle Foster of Burlington as Dana; John Garvey of Robbinsville as Brown; Melissa Geerlof of Mercerville as Tess; Mani Kissling of Hamilton as Caitlyn; Ella Lafontant of Trenton as Georgina; Grace Manno of Burlington as Ella; Zachary Manno of Burlington as Jason; Tanner Mead of Burlington as Shane; Nicky Rosolino of Princeton as Barron; Victoria Scialfa of Robbinsville as Mitchie; J.
