Luna Stage Announces Comedy Lineup

Michael Che, recently named a "Comic To Watch" by Comedy Central, hosts Stand-Up Comedy Night at Luna Stage, 555 Valley Road, West Orange, NJ on Thursday, March 29th, 2012 at 8pm.  Mr. Che is the regular host of the ongoing series, which has become a much anticipated night of entertainment.  He will be joined this month by fellow comics Mike Brown, Miguel Dalmau, Mara Herron, Kevin Joseph Garifo, The Lucas Bros, and Neruda Williams.  Tickets (for mature audiences,18 and over only) are $10 each and can be purchased in person, on the phone at 973-395-5551, or on the Luna Stage website: www.lunastage.org. Luna Stage's Stand-Up Comedy Night is a bi-monthly event featuring a full evening of stand up comedy from the tri-state area's up-and-coming comics. Performers have been seen on MTV, NBC and Comedy Central, and Luna Stage's intimate theatre gives audiences the opportunity to see these rising stars up-close and personal.

Host Michael Che is a native New Yorker who has already gained the respect and admiration of many of the comedians and audiences in New York City. His comedy blends street culture with world issues to hilarious results.

Mike Brown is a comedian and writer from Harlem, New York. He has performed at Caroline's Comedy Club, Stand Up NY, Laugh Lounge,
EastVille Comedy Club, and other venues all over New York. Miguel Dalmau? is a regular at many NY Comedy Clubs and colleges. He has been
featured in "TruTV's "all Worked Up" and "Surveillance Cam". He has also been seen on CBS Sports for the NY Jets.  

Mara Herron has been featured in The Kings Of Leon video, "Four Kicks", heard on Sirius Radio, performed in the Boston Comedy Festival and opened for such prestigious comedians as Comedy Central's Amy Schumer. She also writes and produces her own web series, "That Chick Mara Herron". www.thatchickmaraherron.com.  Kevin Joseph Garifo? is the host of the Comedy Open Mic Night at Starlite Restaurant in West Orange and appears frequently at Comedy Clubs throughout the tristate area.  

The Lucas Bros are stand-up comedians who perform throughout the country. They were finalists in the Ingenuity Festival in Cleveland
and recently appeared at the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta. They've also appeared on Comedy Central's "Tosh.O" and CNN's "The Green Room" for their work with viral marketing company, Thinkmodo.  Neruda Williams is a 27 year Columbian/Black comedian, born and raised in Harlem, New York. He has performed all over the city, including, The Comic Strip, The Comedy Cellar, NY Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, Times Square Comedy Center, Laugh lounge, and Ochies Lounge at Comix.
