Little Rockers Opens New Headquarters

Little Rockers, the popular kids music class and party company, is thrilled to announce the opening of its brand-new headquarters, AppleJams Music & Arts Playcenter, in Shrewsbury, NJ. This new location, which had a soft opening in December 2016, will allow Little Rockers to expand the types of kids' music classes and programming they offer for kids up to age 12.

The 2,500-square-foot Monmouth County space sports four classrooms and a music-themed play area complete with a slide, mini stage and instruments. An adjacent lounge allows parents to enjoy complimentary coffee and Wifi while their kids play. "The lounge and play area were a necessity for the growth of our Little Rockers community," says co-owner Chris Apple. "It was a creative move for us to add a comfortable space for the parents to mingle before and after classes."

In addition to their popular Little Rockers music classes, new programs offered at the center will include rock band, acting, music theater, private instrument lessons and art classes. All of the AppleJams teaching artists have an early education background and specialize in working with younger children.

Jessie and Chris Apple, the creators and co-owners of Little Rockers music classes, are excited to now offer classes for older children as well as creative options for kids with special needs."By adding a 'Music for Special Learners class," we are able to offer a group setting music class for kids who need a more diverse and adaptive music class," says co-owner Jessie Apple.

The center will also host a variety of birthday parties for children-options include the Little Rockers party, a Karaoke party for those who like to belt out a tune, and a super cool Rock Band option where the kids play rock instruments like a real band!

Since its start in 2009, Little Rockers has won a Parents' Choice Award for their album "Playing in the Band," been a semi-finalist in the National Songwriting Competition and a finalist in the 2015 Wells Fargo small business competition-they were also featured on the Wells Fargo website. Little Rockers has produced various music videos and performed live at impressive venues and festivals all over the Tri-State area, including the Bronx Zoo, Summer in the Square NYC, The Stone Pony, Maxwell's in Hoboken, Peeps Fest, and Asbury Lanes.

Jessie's Broadway background and Chris' extensive touring and radio play have helped them to create music and programming that both kids and adults can relate to. Live shows with The Little Rockers Band use the duo's original music and lyrics to bring an interactive rock band experience to families that is like no other.
