Leonia Arts, a nonprofit cultural arts alliance in the borough of Leonia, New Jersey, invites artists of all levels to apply for The Suzanne Pancrazi Memorial Grant. The grant is open to established or aspiring artists working in any medium -- visual, literary, performance, multi-media, or another art form. The grant honors the memory of Leonia resident, Suzanne Pancrazi, an audio-visual artist and a member of the Leonia Arts board of trustees. The Suzanne Pancrazi Memorial Grant will provide a $500 award to the recipient.
The purpose of the grant is to further a selected artist's specific project or a body of work. The artist's work will be featured in a Leonia Arts' exhibit or performance and highlighted on the organization's website, www.leoniaarts.org.
The grant application is open to artists, ages 16 years of age or older, who are either a resident or work in Leonia. The application consists of submitting a proposal, 500 words or less, detailing how the grant award will be used and explaining the artistic endeavor to be undertaken. Three to five work samples must be submitted with the application.
Applications must be submitted by May 1, 2017 to The Suzanne Pancrazi Memorial Grant, c/o The Craft Lounge, 324 Broad Ave., Leonia, New Jersey 07605 or sent electronically to la.spm.grant@gmail.com.
