Lambertville, New Jersey is the only city in Hunterdon County and is one of the smallest cities in the United States. It is no secret that this city, previously voted by Forbes magazine as on of the prettiest towns in American, houses many treasures. Among the many jewels shrouded in its small idealic streets and population of approx. 3,906 are 15 local, national, and international professional ballet dancers. Thanks to the Roxey Ballet for 23-years it has transformed Lambertville into a small city with a magnificent artistic dance treasure.

The current repertoire of expert dancers hail from across the country and across the world representing Austria, Japan, Korea, and Spain as well as spectacular homegrown talent. The dancers having trained at some of the top academies worldwide continue to hone their craft professionally, and now, have brought experience and training to culminate and impart with the local community in Lambertville and the greater community of New Jersey and Bucks County, PA. The Roxey Ballet performs a full season of repertoire from September through June of each year, including the time honored tradition of The Nutcracker, as well as Winter and Spring Productions. The remainder of the season is spent conducting a variety of services and concerts, from educational performances, workshops, and residencies to master classes and touring.

Presently, there is an opportunity to see the professional dancers alongside local talent in the holiday classic the Nutcracker. This popular ballet contains staged theatrics along with dramatic ballet, all showcasing a personal flair added by the Director, Mark Roxey. Surrounding the dancers, the custom-made sets and costumes of the Roxey Ballet are Broadway caliber. There are many specular solos in this production, highlighting the professional Company's attributes, which leave the audience breathless. This production showcases Kaito Yamamoto as the Cavalier and Chanmee Joeng as the prima ballerina, Sugar Plum Fairy which is the culmination of the production and of every little girl's magical dream come true.
