La Strada Ensemble Theater's 3rd season reveals 5 World Premiers (A.J. Cicotelli's Fab & Ren, Mike Sockol's Bris, RoBert Scott's The Amateur Killer, A.J. Ciccotelli's Drowning in Euphoria and Gerry Ringwald's Not Curing Cancer), two East Coast Premiere's of Tom Cavanaugh's one acts Poker Night & Last Remnants of Cops, Robbers and Hollywood Cowboys and 12 one acts each by our company of writers and others in our Crazy Love and Rainbow 2017: LGBT festival. Dates and times will be announced in weeks to come. Tickets will go on sale when show dates are announced.
"What we most pride is our connection to the communities of Ocean Grove, Asbury Park and the rest of Monmouth county - it's these stories that we strive to share with the members of our community" says managing director Evan Black.
"With our 3rd season La Strada found an incredible home at Jersey Shore Art Center, 66 South Main Street in Ocean Grove Studio #2 on the first floor where we will be teaching acting classes on Monday Night (5-7 for teens/7-9pm for adults) and give master classes (this month Tom Cavanaugh is flying out from Los Angeles to teach a master class on crafting a 10 minute play, September 21, 27 & 28th 6-9pm)" says Board President Donna Ault-Jacobson.
