The Eagle Theatre will close out its 2013 main stage season when "Little Shop of Horrors" ends its run on Nov. 23. The production, which is a darker, re-imagined take on the well-known musical, has received praise on everything from the scenic design and actor performances to the overall artistic direction.
Many people familiar with the musical know that the plot revolves around a strange plant that grows out of control as a hapless gardener feeds its appetite for human blood. Often acted with a tongue-in-cheek tone, the artistic directors of this production worked to bring audiences a new vision that is reminiscent of Tim Burton films. "Little Shop of Horrors" will run until Nov. 23, with performances Nov. 15, 16, 21, 22, 23 at 8 p.m., and Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $25 for General Admission and $30 for Front Rows.
