Kidz Cabaret at BergenPAC Announces 2011 -12 Performances

The Kidz Cabaret takes place in the Drapkin Family Cabaret Room, this is an intimate space where the children are in close proximity to the performers. Enjoy watching the little ones sing, dance and interact with the array of performers! This shows are ideal for children from infant to 7 years old!

The Story Pirates Greatest encourages creative thinking and improvisation through sketch comedy musicals performed by professional actors. Story Pirates will delight and surprise with puppets, enlivening songs and outrageous sketches, all the while motivating kids to pick up a pencil and write down their own fantastic adventures. Story topics run the gamut, from kung fu ninja babies fighting crime and the eternal love between the devil and some guy she met at Starbucks, to cats flying and tickle monsters who rule the world.

Founded in 1976, the Center for Food Action in New Jersey (CFA) has as its mission, "preventing hunger and homelessness and improving the lives of individuals and families living in poverty." To this end, CFA provides emergency food packages, rental and utility assistance, counseling, advocacy and other essential services to those in need living in northern New Jersey.

Started by the late singer Harry Chapin and Bill Ayers as World Hunger Year New Jersey, the agency originally focused on the global causes of world hunger but within months of its start, it became evident that some people in our own community needed help in order to put food on their tables. Volunteers immediately began responding to this need. Soon the name was changed to Center for Food Action in New Jersey and the emphasis became providing direct services to local residents.
