Kean Stage will kick off its 2018/19 season with two performances by Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth, best known for her star turns on Broadway in Chicago and Sweet Charity, as well as her memorable role as Lilith Sternin Crane on the television series Cheers. Neuwirth's show,Stories with Piano, will be performed at Enlow Recital Hall on Saturday, September 15, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 16, at 3 p.m.

Kean Stage's blockbuster season continues on Sunday, September 30 with The Manhattan Transfer, featuring Kean alum Alan Paul '71. The group formed as a vocal quartet in 1972 and logged their first Top 20 hit shortly after. Their four?part harmonies led to eight Grammy Awards in both the pop and jazz categories and a career still going strong after more than 45 years. The National Music Council recently honored the group with the 2018 American Eagle Award in recognition of their contribution to American musical culture and heritage.

On Saturday, October 13, Kean welcomes back Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, a group that first rocked Kean's stage in the 1970s. Four decades later, it's still a party every time the Jukes perform. Their rhythm and horns, paired with gospel?charged vocals and catchy choruses, have secured their status as a mainstay on the Jersey Shore music scene and beyond.

Other performers include the Prague Philharmonic Children's Choir; the gypsy swing of Velvet Caravan; Heidi Latsky Dance; Eva Noblezada, Broadway's Miss Saigon; six-time Grammy Award-winner David Sanborn, and Love Letters featuring Meredith Baxter and Michael Gross from TV'sFamily Ties.

Family events include stage productions of Rainbow Fish; Snowkus Pocus, a cirque-tacular holiday show; and sensory-friendly performances for all audiences of Pete the Cat and Pinkalicious, the Musical, along with our new Children's Film Series with fun activities for everyone.
