Eagle's next installment of Stand-Up Comedy is August 26th @ 7:00PM & 9:30PM, featuring America's Got Talent finalist, and Winner of Showtime's Funniest Person in America, Julia Scotti, hosted by New York's Funny Man, Kevin Hurley.

Hurley, a New York resident and South Jersey native, states "Although you can find exceptional comedy in cities across the country, most major clubs audition their comics out of New York. While living in the Big Apple, I have been able to make endless connections in the comedy world. I am proud to provide my home state with some of the most top tier comedians in the business."

Julia Scotti, also a New Jersey native, was born male, and lived the first 28 years of her life as Rick Scotti. After transitioning and pursuing comedy, Julia found her hilarious new voice, as she appeared on the original Comedy Central and was the winner of Showtime's Funniest Person in America contest for New Jersey, losing the finals to Ellen Degeneres. In 2014, Julia was one of the winners of the Laughlin Laugh Festival in Nevada, and has been named one of the top 5 Transgender Comedians in the country by The Advocate. Most recently, Julia Scotti appeared as one of America's Got Talent finalist.

Hurley concluded, "It doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman, in your twenties or your nineties. Julia Scotti at The Eagle Theatre make Stand-Up Comedy in New Jersey feel like Stand-Up Comedy in New York, without the traffic."

Eagle Theatre's on-site Sharrot Wine Lounge will open 45 minutes prior to the performance and remain accessible throughout the performance.

The Eagle Theatre is located at 208 Vine Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037. General Admission: Tickets - $25. Run Time: Approximately 90 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at www.eagletheatre.org, or contact the box office at 609-704-5012. Appropriate for 18+.
