The Barefoot Contessa will share stories, cooking short cuts and recipes on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 7:30PM. Onstage, Garten shares her natural approach to food through tips, stories and maybe even some recipes, and engages the audience in an interactive Q&A. About Garrison Keillor: Garrison Keillor, award-winning master storyteller and host of public radio's A Prairie Home Companion, shares humorous insights about growing up in the Midwest and late-life fatherhood in a solo show at Prudential Hall. The author and Grammy winner from Minnesota, whose latest book is The Keillor Reader, counts more than 17 million listeners among his fans and has performed in concert halls and with orchestras throughout the country (with Philip Brunelle) as a member of The Hopeful Gospel Quartet and on tour broadcasts of A Prairie Home Companion. Keillor's most recent role included playing himself in the 2006 movie adaptation of A Prairie Home Companion, featuring Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin and Tommy Lee Jones.
