Salmonpeople
Written and performed by Peter Donaldson
Thursday, March 5 at 8pm
Friday, March 6 at 8pm
Part
Robin Williams, part
Garrison Keillor, Donaldson is known as the Johnny Appleseed of the Pacific Northwest. Funny, poignant and razor sharp, Salmonpeople, follows everyman Cyrus Jackson, who finds himself employed as a salmon taxi at the local dam. With inquisitive charm, one man's head-scratching, self-taught theories illuminate the disturbing history of the Pacific Northwest, the ultimate economics of Mother Nature, and the universal question of sustainable living in America. This is sly storytelling at its best. Presented in partnership with D&R Greenway, Isles, NJ Conservation Foundation, and Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association.
