Getting Away With Murder
October 24 - November 14, 2015
Written by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth, Directed by Ellyn Essig
Tickets are $21 Friday & Saturday / $17 Sunday

While certainly better known for their musicals, Company and Merrily We Roll Along, co-playwrights Stephen Sondheim and George Furth also scored a hit with this killer of a comedy thriller! When members of a group therapy circle arrive to find their therapist murdered and evidence that one of them did it, they must work through their neuroses and discover the killer before, one by one, they are bumped off. "This is the first time that Sondheim, the master craftsman of the musical theater, has attempted a straight play. The man who concocted barbershop murders in Sweeney Todd, fractured fairy tales with Into the Woods and wrote anthems for presidential Assassins has always had a sense for the macabre. An avid game enthusiast as well, he gets the chance here to combine vocation and avocation." - NY DAILY NEWS.
** Contains smoking, gunfire, physical violence and mature language.

Pinocchio
November 28 - December 20, 2015
Adaptation and Lyrics by Jim Eller, Based on the Book by Carlo Collodi, Music by Jim Eller and Jeanne Bargy, Directed by Terri Caust
Tickets are $14 (all performances)

75 years ago the Disney movie was released. Now, the Prince Street Players version of this time-honored story set in Italy will enthrall youngsters between the ages of 3 and 12, along with their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins (and even non-relatives!). Pinocchio is a boy-sized puppet built by the caring puppet maker, Geppetto, and is brought to life by the Blue Fairy as a reward for Geppetto's remarkably generous spirit. After singing and dancing his way through many adventures, Pinocchio learns that no love is greater than that of a parent for a child. And after the show, all of the characters will be available for autographs and pictures!

Good People
January 9 - January 30, 2016
Written by David Lindsay-Abaire, Directed by Peter Colletto
Tickets are $21 Friday & Saturday / $17 Sunday

Playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, the Pulitzer Prize winner for Rabbit Hole and lyricist for Shrek The Musical, has created a sense memory dramedy about two friends from South Boston who date briefly in high school and then grow up and go their separate ways. He leaves 'Southie' and becomes a successful doctor, while she stays in the neighborhood and faces difficult everyday challenges. What happens when they meet again after 30 years, when she comes to him desperate for work? This intimate and often humorous look at how luck, class, race and the choices we make ultimately affect our lives was nominated for
Best Play of 2011 and is "...thoughtful, moving and richly entertaining." - USA TODAY.
** Contains mature subject matter and language.

Leading Ladies
February 13 - March 5, 2016
Written by Ken Ludwig, Directed by Lynne Lupfer
Tickets are $21 Friday & Saturday / $17 Sunday

>From the brilliant mind who created Lend Me a Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo, this hilarious comedy finds two desperate English actors performing "Scenes from Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in Amish country (you read that correctly). When they hear that an old lady in a nearby town is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash. But when they get there, they find out that the relatives aren't nephews, but nieces! "Ludwig's newest farce is so funny, it will make sophisticated and reasonable men and women of the 21st century cackle till their faces hurt." - HOUSTON PRESS.

Enchanted April
March 19 - April 16, 2016
Written by Matthew Barber, Directed by Iris Weinhouse
Tickets are $21 Friday & Saturday / $17 Sunday

Think "Real Housewives of Britain Spending the Summer in an Italian Villa". OK, maybe not. But you'd be surprised to see the assortment of oddball characters appearing in this stage adaptation of a novel written more than 90 years ago, including two frumpy wives, a grand dame, one husband who is a cad and another a pompous oaf, a glamorous countess and a manic Italian maid. "Call it a feminist's novel, a chick flick or simply a woman's play, Enchanted April is still a story with sufficient sexual resonance to appeal just as much to men." - NY POST.

A View from the Bridge
April 30 - May 22, 2016
Written by Arthur Miller, Directed by Jacqueline McElroy-Poquette
Tickets are $21 Friday & Saturday / $17 Sunday

Eddie Carbone is an Italian-American longshoreman living in Brooklyn with his wife and orphaned niece. He is protective of the young woman and finds himself at odds with his wife's cousin, an illegal immigrant, when the cousin begins to date the girl. Intertwining and evolving relationships among everyone living in the house cause conflicts that eventually lead to deadly consequences and it is "...like watching a runaway train hurtle towards you and being unable to move." - THE GUARDIAN OF LONDON. This universal story of love, hate, jealousy and revenge has been adapted for film, TV and even opera and is the recipient of numerous Tony, Drama Desk and Olivier Awards.

ENTERTAINMENT. ** Contains intense adult themes and strong language.
