Popular folk singer-songwriter, Josh Ritter, returns to SOPAC November 9 at 7:30 p.m. Known for his strong voice, keen wit, and evocative way with words, Ritter has quickly taken his place as one of the most acclaimed young songwriters of his generation.
Released to widespread critical praise, Sermon On The Rocks was named one of PopMatters' "80 Best Albums of 2015" with NPR Music including his song "Getting Ready To Get Down" in their "Favorite Songs Of 2015" list, and Paste magazine naming "Birds of the Meadow" in their "50 Best Songs of 2015" list.
Josh Ritter also recently released the official music video for his new song "Homecoming," which features thousands of hometown images submitted to the artist by his fans.
