Fall registration is now open for Mayo Performing Arts Center's fall classes.
A variety of classes in musical theater, acting, theatre dance technique and vocal training will be available for children beginning at age 5 through age 18. Classes begin September 19 and run through mid-January. Classes are offered on Mondays-Thursdays and Saturdays at the Theatre. Cost for classes begins at $300, depending on the length and type of the class.
This fall, MPAC returns with four classes using the methodology of The Miracle Project for children on the autism spectrum and with special needs. The Miracle Project is an original groundbreaking, fully inclusive music, movement and creative drama program featured in the Emmy Award winning documentary Autism: The Musical. Les Children ages 9-15 with autism spectrum disorders and other special needs to express themselves through music, dance, acting, story and writing. All children of all abilities grow in skills and spirit and work with a highly talented staff while creating and performing musicals.

Auditions for MPAC's Teen Performing Arts Company will take place on Sunday, September 10 from 2 pm - 5 pm and Tuesday, September 12 from 6 pm - 9 pm. The Performing Arts Company, now in its 12th year, is seeking talented, serious musical theatre performers ages 13-21 who can sing, dance and act, and are looking to use their talent to better the community. This musical troupe acts as ambassadors for MPAC by performing Broadway-style musical numbers at community events, fundraisers, hospitals, special events and festivals around New Jersey. Please prepare an uptempo song that shows off your vocal range and personality.
