The Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ, has opened registration for its 2013 Summer Camp for Young Performers.

The camp will run today, June 24 through July 17, Monday through Friday, from 9am-3pm. It is open to youth ages 8 to 15. At the conclusion of the camp, a production of Disney's Aladdin will be put on by the students, with four performance dates on July 18, 19, 20, and 21.

The camp will be directed by Eagle Theatre co-artistic director Ed Corsi, and the culminating production will be directed by Rich Curcio. Ed Corsi is a former professional actor having appeared on both New York and National stages, as well on television. He has successfully organized and operated several children's theatre camps in the state and has directed over 15 children's young adults' shows.

The 2013 Eagle Theatre Summer Camp for Young Performers is designed to give students a background in all aspects of theatrical production. Toward that end, students will receive instruction from theatre professionals in a number of fields, including acting, costume design, musical direction, and audio and lighting technology, all while preparing for a musical production at the conclusion of the camp.

Information on rates and registration can be found online at www.TheEagleTheatre.com, under "Education." For more information, please contact the box office at (609) 704-5012.
