Earlier this month, Google, Inc., one of the world's largest internet companies, awarded the Eagle Theatre in Hammonton, NJ more than $100,000 in grant funding. The funds will offset all costs for Google Adwords advertising and were received as part of a new non-profit partnership between the two organizations.

Google also sent representatives to the Eagle Theatre, which is located in the Hammonton Art District.

Managing Director, James Donio, Director of Development, Zane Sebasovich and Co-Artistic Directors, Ted Wioncek III and Ed Corsi met with Google Trusted Photographers Drew and Sarah Hilker at the theatre. Panoramic images of all of the public spaces inside and outside of the Eagle Theatre were taken to create a digital virtual tour. 360 degree views of the Eagle Theatre lobby, seating area and wine lounge are now available on Google

The program is made possible in part by support from Kessler Foundation, in partnership with the New Jersey Theatre Alliance. "We are honored to received guidance and support from The New Jersey Theatre Alliance and The Kessler Foundation, and proud to be an recipient of this monumental initiative", Wioncek said.

"To be included with some pretty incredible theatres and working beside The New Jersey Theatre Alliance on this project is pretty special", said Corsi.

"Our staff has been coordinating these projects for months, working with The New Jersey Theatre Alliance and Google representatives to make sure that everything went flawlessly. The leadership of Zane Sebasovich, Ted Wioncek III and Ed Corsi made this all come together," Donio said.

Earlier this year, the Eagle Theatre was also appointed by Facebook, Inc. as one of only 12 businesses in the nation to serve on Facebook's Inaugural Business Council. Theatre staff travelled to Facebook Headquarters in California, at Facebook's expense, and will travel there again later this year. The theatre staff is in contact with Facebook SMB members on a daily basis via Facebook groups, email, phone calls and conferences.

Donio went on to say, "Partnering with global technology leaders like Google and Facebook has led to incredible innovation at the Eagle Theatre. We are looking forward to sharing some of the insights we have gained with businesses throughout South Jersey, Philadelphia and beyond."

The Eagle Theatre is South Jersey's only year-round professional Equity theatre. Currently on the Eagle Theatre stage is the Tony Award Nominated Musical, The Civil War: The Musical. The Eagle Theatre production has been Barrymore Award Recommended and has received high praise from theatre critics and audiences from throughout the region. The Civil War: The Musical runs from now through October 11th. For more information and tickets visit www.theeagletheatre.com or call 609-704-5012.
