The Eagle Theatre and the Green Committee of Hammonton will hold a free screening of the documentary film "Miss Representation" at the Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ, at 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 22. This screening is part of the organizations' Eye Opening Film and Lecture Series. Admission to this event is free, though donations are welcome.

"Miss Representation" is an award-winning documentary, released in 2011, that explores the often negative portrayal of women in the news media and entertainment. Featuring interviews and stories from such notable individuals as Katie Couric, Condoleeza Rice, and Nancy Pelosi, this eye-opening film is a must-see for anyone interested in the efforts to promote positive female role models in the mainstream media.

The film runs approximately one hour and thirty minutes. For more information about this and other events at the Eagle Theatre, please contact the box office at (609) 704-5012.
