Eagle Theatre is bidding farewell to their 2017 Mainstage Season as they open their season finale with a fresh take on the world's longest running musical, THE FANTASTICKS, running November 10th - December 10th.
THE FANTASTICKS follows two neighboring fathers who trick their children, Luisa and Matt, into falling in love by pretending to feud. Set in a world of moonlight and magic, this classic musical teaches us about life, love, and the lessons learned along the way.
Featuring a poetic book and breezy, inventive score, audiences will be delighted to hear such familiar hits as "Try to Remember" and "Soon It's Gonna Rain."
Heading into its highly anticipated 7th year, Eagle Theatre has designed a bold and eclectic lineup for the 2018 Mainstage Season, featuring three musicals, LITTLE WOMEN, THE LAST FIVE YEARS, THE SPIRFIRE GRILL, and two plays, MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS, and NOIR: THE 3D/4D SEMI-CINAMATIC SATRICAL THRILLER, an Eagle Theatre Original and World Premiere.
Co-Artistic Director Ed Corsi states, "Season Passes have already outsold all previous seasons. We attribute this greatly to the dedication of our patrons and their ability to spread the word." Eagle Theatre is currently offering a limited time "Buy One, Get One 75% Off" discount on 2018 Mainstage Season Passes. Eagle Theatre will set a max cap on the number of subscriptions made available to the general public.
Managing Director Jim Donio added, "While filling the house is certainly considered a success, we must always be able accommodate single ticket buyers. We pride ourselves on the ability to offer an intimate experience for all."
Co-Artistic Director Ted Wioncek III concluded, "The need to put a cap on sales is proof that the arts continue to thrive. We are proud to play a role in the expansion of the theatrical landscape in the Delaware Valley."
