The award-winning East Lynne Theater Company is partnering with three Cape May B&Bs for three exciting winter weekends in February and March: two involve murder mysteries, and one involves acting classes and a performance.

Since we've had requests from those living in the Cape May area who don't require overnight accommodations, ELTC is pleased to announce that we're leaving a few spots open in order to honor these requests. Those living locally who want to join in the fun, can make your reservations through ELTC by calling 609-884-5898 or via e-mail at eastlynneco@aol.com.

On February 25 and 26, and again on March 11 and 12, participants can try their hand at solving a murder mystery with an experienced detective. Set in another era, guests could be Charlie Chan, Elliott Ness, the murderer - or the victim! Frank Smith, a retired Philadelphia police detective, will be on hand to provide just enough information to get everyone's sleuthing skills going. Packages include Friday night appetizers at one of the participating B&Bs, dinner at Lucky Bones, breakfasts at the B&Bs, and a dessert reception on Saturday evening - all while participants gather clues to solve the crime. The fee is $75 per person; room rates separate.

On March 4 and 5, participants can pursue their passion for acting with the Theater Immersion Weekend. Classes will be conducted by professional actors and directors, including East Lynne Theater Company's Artistic Director, Gayle Stahlhuth and Tom Byrn. The weekend begins on Friday with dinner at Lucky Bones where participants and professionals meet to prepare for Saturday's workshops which include movement, acting exercises, improvisation, and scene study, all leading up to Saturday night at 8:00, when the attendees perform in front of an audience. There is an after-show party, of course, at Lucky Bones, and the next morning at breakfast at the B&Bs, workshop teachers will be on hand to answer final questions and further discuss theater. All levels of acting experience welcome. For information contact East Lynne Theater Company at 884-5898 or online at www.eastlynnetheater.org or one of the participating B&Bs. The fee is $225.00 per person; room rates separate.

Reservations and payments for these fun-filled special weekends are made through the B&Bs where guests are staying - except you live locally - and then payment is made through East Lynne Theater Company, as explained above.

The participating B&Bs are: The Henry Sawyer Inn at 722 Columbia Ave, 884-5667, henrysawyerinn@verizon.net; Twin Gables B&B at 731 Columbia Ave., 884-7332, twgables@verizon.net; and Victorian Lace Inn, 901 Stockton Ave., 884-1772, innkeeper@victorianlaceinn.com.
