Bergen Performing Arts Center located at 30 North Van Brunt Street in Englewood, New Jersey presents Don Rickles, Thursday August 6, 2015 at 8PM. Purchase tickets to see "Mr. Warmth" at www.ticketmaster.com or Box Office at 201.227.1030.

Don Rickles is one of comedy's most famous funnymen. For over 55 years he has appeared in top showrooms and concert halls throughout the U.S. and internationally. He is regarded among the world's top entertainers and continues to enjoy performing to this day. "I'm in good health. I'm working better than I ever have. The audiences are great. I'm like a fighter. The bell rings and you come out and fight. My energy comes alive. And, I still enjoy it," he said in a recent interview.

It is well known that Rickles has nothing against the people he insults during his routines, and that it's part of the act. Sarcastically nicknamed "Mr. Warmth" by Johnny Carson, Bullethead by Frank Sinatra and The Merchant of Venom by Milton Berle due to his stage personality, most know him to be genial and pleasant. Many also say that being insulted by him is like "wearing a badge of honor". He's known for saying the word "anyway" following most of his comedic insults. This is widely regarded as one of Rickles' classic comedic tactics that contribute to his impeccable sense of timing.

A frequent guest on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and The David Letterman Show as well as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, he has acted in comedic and dramatic roles, but is widely known as an insult comic. Don Rickles is also the famous Mr. Potato Head in Toy Story 2 and 3, a feat with which his grandchildren are "more impressed" than by any of his other achievements.

Rickles continues to be a highly visible comic appearing in commercials and shows during the Super Bowl XLIV, for Snickers candy bar, Hot In Cleveland, the Daytime Emmys, and more. At the 2012 Comedy Awards in New York City, Rickles was honored to be the second recipient of the prestigious "Johnny Carson Award for Comedic Excellence".

Rickles was also honored with the Friars Club's Lifetime Achievement Award for Comedy and a Comedy Central "One Night Only: An All-Star Comedy Tribute to Don Rickles." Honoring Don on the two-hour special, which emanated from the famed Apollo Theater in New York City, were, among others, Robert DeNiro, Johnny Depp, Tina Fey, Brad Garrett, Jimmy Kimmel, David Letterman, Tracy Morgan, Eddie Murphy, Bob Newhart, Regis Philbin, Amy Poehler, Ray Romano, Martin Scorsese, Jerry Seinfeld, and Jon Stewart.
