New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening with Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood LIVE: King for a Day! The award-winning, No. 1 PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood springs to life on stage in this interactive, all-new musical adventure for young audiences.
Inspired by Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and its beloved Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood uses the title character - a shy but brave 4-year-old tiger - to tell engaging stories about the life of a preschooler, teaching key social skills necessary for school and for life. Now the "grr-ific" musical version is back on the road with an all-new show!
Currently in its third year of touring, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood LIVE has captivated audiences on stages coast-to-coast. For this updated production, your favorite characters will be hopping back aboard Trolley and coming to your town. In King for a Day!, Daniel and his friends invite you to join them for a brand-new adventure in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe - where Daniel Learns just what it takes to be King. Beloved characters spring to life in this colorful production, filled with new songs, magical moments, lots of laughter - and a few surprise guests along the way.
Have some "tigertastic" fun with this performance, which teaches valuable lessons about kindness, helping others, and being a friend. Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood LIVE: King for a Day! promises a royally great time for little tigers and grown-ups alike.
