New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents Chicago, Tuesday, April 16th at 7:30 P.M.
Back by popular demand! Chicago, the legendary, GRAMMY-winning rock'n'roll band with horns, has been hailed as one of the "most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era" by former President Bill Clinton.
"Hard to Say I'm Sorry," "You're the Inspiration," "If You Leave Me Now" and "Saturday in the Park" are just a few of the hits produced by Chicago through the years. The band came in at No. 4 on Billboard magazine's recent "Top Bands and Duos," the highest ranking American band in the chart's history and is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades.
Chicago was inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and their first album, Chicago Transit Authority, was inducted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame. Bandmates Robert Lamm and James Pankow joined the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017 for mega-hits such as "25 or 6 to 4," "Feelin' Stronger Every Day," "Make Me Smile" and many others. Chicago is the subject of the award-winning documentary film, Now More Than Ever: The History of Chicago.
2019 marks the band's 52nd consecutive year of touring, without missing a single concert date!
Tickets to see Chicago are available NOW at NJPAC.org or 888.GO.NJPAC (888.466.5722) or by visiting the NJPAC Box Office.
