Centenary Stage Company's Production Of Yasmina Reza's ART Closes This Weekend ImageCritics and audiences are raving about Centenary Stage Company's all - star production of Yasmina Reza's Tony Award winning Art which closes its run in the Lackland Performing Arts Center this weekend. "This production directed by the multi-talented Anne Occhiogrosso, starring a trio of outstanding Broadway, film and television vets, Randall Duk Kim, Kevin Carolan and CSC's own Carl Wallnau provides an exceptional theater experience worthy of any stage." (Rick Busciglio, NJ Footlights).

Being hailed as "ingenious" by Jay Lustig of NJarts.net, it all begins when Serge buys an expensive painting by a celebrated artist. A white canvas with white diagonal lines. Old friends square off over the canvas, using it as an excuse to hilariously batter one another over various slights and failures. Art is a hilarious exploration of the very notion of what constitutes art while examining the meaning of friendship. "There's no way you will not laugh with these idiosyncratic friends in their simple sitting room. The performers make sure of that." (Michael Vest, Broadwayworld.com).
