Join Cape May Stage on March 18th from 10:30 am -2:30 pm as Fins Bar & Grille opens its doors to help raise money through their Sunday Socials Event. The Sunday Socials have become the events of the season with a build your own Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar, live music, brunch, and full lunch menu. Cape May Stage's 30th anniversary season opens on May 23rd with Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End by Allison Engel and Margaret Engel and directed by Marlena Lustik. Using the groundbreaking columnist's own wit and wisdom the one-woman show is filled with light-hearted humor and nuggets of wisdom that give insight into the life and family of the woman who dared to ask, "If life is a bowl of cherries, what am I doing in the pits?" The madcap comedy runs through June 22nd.

Kicking off the summer-season is Neil Simon's Tony-Nominated, Chapter Two, directed by Roy Steinberg. The romantic comedy, set in Manhattan in the 1970s, about second-time around love, runs June 27th-August 3rd. Following the semi-autobiographical comedy is The Lion In Winter by James Goldman, an epic display of the struggle for power and love between two of England's most formidable rulers, King Henry II and Queen Eleanor, and their three sons. The Lion In Winter runs August 8th-September 14th with guest director John Gulley.

The fall season begins with The Shuck, a world premier by Cape May native Shawn Fisher and directed by Roy Steinberg. The drama centers on an abrasive, strong-willed oyster boat captain forced to face the truth of her past when her son is lost at sea and her long-lost daughter returns home. The Shuck runs September 19th through November 9th. The season of "Choices" wraps with An Actor's Carol by Charles Evered, another NJ native who wrote Class produced in 2010 at Cape May Stage. Running November 14th-December 30th, An Actor's Carol is a hilarious twist on the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol, told from the point of view of the stage crew. Directed by Roy Steinberg, An Actor's Carol is designed to tickle your funny bone and get you into the holiday spirit.

Subscriptions are available through the CMS Box Office for the 2018 season. Subscribers can get three to five-play packages and receive a 15-40% discount off single ticket admission.
