Broadway's Loni Ackerman is set to take her one-woman show to the Bickford stage on Saturday, April 30 at 7:00PM. This annual fundraising event will include great food and beverages, a 50/50 cash raffle, the always popular wine "Cork Pull," and a theatre ticket raffle.

Loni Ackerman's magnetism and dynamic vocal prowess as a Broadway musical

theater star has made her a longtime favorite of theatergoers. In this charming and beguiling musical evening, Loni recalls personal stories growing up with family friends Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon, revisits songs she sang on-Broadway and Off-Broadway, and performs contemporary and original compositions.

Loni Ackerman has captivated New York audiences in such coveted roles as Eva in "Evita" and "Grizabella" in Cats. Other Broadway credits include leading roles in "The Magic Show," "So Long, 174th Street," "No, No, Nanette," and "George M!" She was in the original cast of "Starting Here, Starting Now" and appeared Off-Broadway in "Diamonds," "The Petrified Prince" (both under the direction of Hal Prince), "Brownstone" and "Dames At Sea." She is married to Tony Award winning Sound Designer Steve Kennedy and has two sons, Jack and George.

Proceeds from the benefit provide support for future programming at the Morris Museum's Bickford Theatre. One of New Jersey's premier professional theatres, the Bickford produces and presents year-round entertainment including a Main Stage Series, Children's Theatre, a Jazz Series, Comedy, Classical Music and many other special concerts and performances.

Tickets may be purchased online at morrismuseum.org, by phone at (973) 971-3706, or in person at the Bickford Theatre Box Office. The Bickford Theatre is an integral part of the Morris Museum, located at 6 Normandy Heights Road in Morristown, NJ, and offers free parking and full accessibility. Box Office hours for phone sales are Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm. Walk-up hours are Tuesday through Friday, 11:00am to 5:00pm.
