Stars of the stage and screen will perform at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey highly celebrated annual fundraiser gala on March 28 at the Hilton Short Hills in Short Hills. This annual Shakespeare Theatre event kicks off each season and is the Theatre's largest fundraiser of the year. In addition to fabulous dishes from carving and sauté stations, sumptuous passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, and a silent auction that promises scores of unique offerings, guests will enjoy a fabulous cabaret show of music and comedy sketches featuring notable stage and screen luminaries.
Appearing as part of the Gala festivities is Tony and Emmy Award winner Blythe Danner. Ms. Danner won a Tony Award for Butterflies are Free and her most recent Emmy Award for Huff. She will soon appear in the third film of the series that began with Meet the Parents along with Robert DeNiro and Ben Stiller.
Direct from Broadway, 2008 Tony Award nominee Robin de Jesus, currently starring in In The Heights on Broadway, has also joined the line-up.
Star of the hit CBS-TV show The Ghost Whisperer opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad, travels from Hollywood to appear.
Peri Gilpin, who starred as Roz on the hit TV series Frasier and in the Emmy-nominated Showtime film Laughter on the 23rd Floor, also joins the roster of celebrities.
Others set to appear include favorites Laila Robins (NBC-TV's 30 Rock, Broadway's Heartbreak House, Frozen); Tamara Tunie (Broadway's Julius Caesar, NBC TV's Law and Order: SVU); Linda Powell (Broadway's On Golden Pond); Robert Cuccioli (Broadway's Jekyll and Hyde); Mark Jacoby (Broadway's Sweeney Todd, Ragtime, Phantom of the Opera).

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with guests feasting on sumptuous passed hors d'oeuvres, and dishes from a variety of carving and sauté stations.
