BloomfieldArts.org is proud to present the North Jersey New Found Theatre Festival during the month of February. The festival will be presenting original works of writers from across the Tri-State area as readings, workshops and performances. The festival will commence on weekends (Thursdays-Sundays) in February at several different Bloomfield Arts locations in Bloomfield, New Jersey: Broad Street Playhouse, Broadway Performing Arts School, New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts, and the Westminster Arts Center. The readings and workshop performances are open to the public for $5 for each event. Each performance will end in a talk-back with the creative team so that audiences can discuss the piece they have just heard.

Authors work being presented include: Eileen Benson, Casey Buttari, Ralph Carbone, John Chev, Ben Clawson, David Conrad, Mike Fresta, Morgan S. Gertler, Sarah Grodsky, Michael Edison Hayden, Manuel Igrejas, Michael Hayden, Raymond Jordan, RJ Lewis, Deborah Maclean, Elizabeth Pugh, Ward James Riley, David West Read, Ken Schactman, Steve Triebes, Dave Valiante, Andrew Ward, William James Ward, George Winship, Carl Worner

BloomfieldArts.org was formed this past summer by existing Bloomfield arts organizations to advance the arts in the town of Bloomfield. "Promoting the value of the arts during the country's financial uncertainties and showing how it can still aid in overall economic growth is very important to us," says co-founder Gregory Allen. "This festival has writers with a varied background from professionals to young writers fresh out of college. It not only allows writers an excellent opportunity to showcase their work, but it brings more people to our town to see all that we have to offer in the way of the arts."
