Betty Buckley, Andrea McArdle & More Set for Kean Stage's 2013-14 Season; Tickets Now on Sale

Kean Stage's 2013-2014 performing arts season boasts an impressive lineup of world-class performances all across its campus.

The Wilkins Theatre season this year features the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Ralph Stanley in his "Farewell" Tour, Jersey's-own Sleepy Man Banjo Boys and Broadway vocalists Betty Buckley, Andrea McArdle, Maureen McGovern, Donna McKechnie and Faith Prince.

Dance enthusiasts will enjoy the "Romeo and Juliet" of Chinese folklore performed by the Shanghai Ballet and ballet classics like Swan Lakeperformed by Moscow Festival Ballet, New Jersey Ballet's Ballet on Broadway and New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble's The Nutcracker.

The Gene and Shelly Enlow Recital Hall opens the 2013-2014 season on October 5 with the legendary Herbie Hancock. The line-up also features leading musicians and legends of our time in classical, jazz, pop and world music including classical pianist, Emanuel Ax, sitarist, Anoushka Shankar, the blues of Taj Majal, Sutton Foster and a holiday show by Wilson Phillips. New this season, our resident chamber ensemble, Arco will present Concert & Café, two concerts followed by light refreshments in Yumba Café where the musicians will be available to discuss the performance.

Returning again this year is our International Film Series featuring award-winning modern foreign cinema on Sunday afternoons in the Jules Irving Schwartz Lecture Hall in the new STEM building.

The Kean University main campus is located at 1000 Morris Avenue in Union, N.J. and the address for the East Campus where Enlow Recital Hall is located is 215 North Avenue in Hillside, N.J.
