The Summer Concert Series at Centenary Stage Company wraps up on Saturday, August 4, with a musical extravaganza, BEATLEMANIA NOW!, a live musical tribute to the Beatles, performed at 8 p.m. in the David and Carol Lackland Center on the campus of Centenary College.

“Beatlemania Now!” recreates the energy of an original Beatles show set against a backdrop of iconic images evoking many memories from the 1960’s. “Not only does this group capture the Beatles’ music, look, and style, but the background video puts the audience in the 1960’s, evoking the hope, deep sadness, and energy of the time,” says critic Harriet Diamond. The transcendent music of the Beatles is a “must see” for all ages, says travel writer, Stacey Smith.

Tickets for “Beatlemania Now!” are $30-$35 in advance and $35-$40 on the day of the performance with discounts for children under 12. Tickets are available through the CSC Box office at 715 Grand Ave., open 1-5 PM Monday through Friday, and 2 hours prior to each performance. They may also be purchased online at www.centenarystageco.org, or by calling the box office at 908-979-0900.

The 2012-13 season of performing arts events at Centenary Stage Company is made possible through the generous support of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, the NJ State Council on the Arts, The Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation, and CSC members and sponsors, including Premier Sponsors Fulton Bank of New Jersey and Heath Village Retirement Community, as well as Silver Sponsor Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, and Mama’s and Café Baci in Hackettstown.
