Black Box Studios is celebrating the New Year with a new home. Set in the heart of vibrant Teaneck, NJ, the Black Box Performing Arts Center offers the opportunity for more robust programming in 2016.
Continuing their commitment to serve the NJ arts community, the January 2016 repertoire includes a high-level teen ensemble productions of Bat Boy: The Musical, and Other Desert Cities; as well as student productions of How I Learned to Drive, and Zombie Prom: Atomic Edition.

Brooke announces she is about to publish a memoir dredging up a pivotal and tragic event in the family's history-a wound they don't want reopened. In effect, she draws a line in the sand and dares them all to cross it.

This girl-loves-ghoul rock and roll musical is set in the atomic 1950s at Enrico Fermi High, where the law is laid down by a zany, tyrannical principal. Pretty senior Toffee has fallen for the class bad boy. Family pressure forces her to end the romance, and he charges off on his motorcycle to the nuclear waste dump. He returns glowing and determined to reclaim Toffee's heart.
