Arts Education at NJPAC Announce Summer Programs 2017

Arts Education at NJPAC offers the best arts summer for student's ages 10 to 18 where kids can immerse themselves in a variety of programs perfecting their skills and creating their own dances, plays and poems. The summer program offers many options in Dance, Devised Theater, Musical Theater and Hip Hop. Arts Education at NJPAC is proud to announce two new programs this summer, Jazz & R&B Intensive and Filmmaking. Students taking the newly created Jazz & R&B Intensive will explore the creativity and vibrancy of Latin, Classic Jazz and R&B music. Students will focus on the different methods of musicianship, ensemble work, listening, improvisation and performance where they are guided through a cultural journey perfecting vocal performance and songwriting.

Also new this summer is Filmmakers, this is an extensive filmmaking program teaching students how to tell a visual narrative through the process of creating documentaries, short films and web content. This year's summer program runs from June 27th through August 11th at NJPAC's Center for Arts Education located at 24 Rector Street in a stand-alone building on the NJPAC campus with a private entrance for drop off and pick up. NJPAC is the State's largest arts education provider offering the most diverse programs led by highly qualified faculty, many of which who are professional artists, performers and musicians.
