Neil Berg, creator and co-producer of 100 Years of Broadway, the #1 Broadway touring concert in the country, and the Night of Broadway Stars fundraisers for Covenant House (recently seen at NJPAC) is bringing his show to the Newark Bears Stadium on July 14th in support of Covenant House.
"Broadway Meets Baseball," which will take place before the baseball game, will recreate the greatest moments from the finest shows of the century featuring the actual stars of shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables,CATS, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Jekyll & Hyde. The show will feature performances by Charles Bergell (Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera), Carter Calvert (Ain't Nothin' But the Blues, Cats), Rita Harvey (Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof), Andrea Rivette (Les Miserables, Jekyll & Hyde), and Danny Zolli (Jesus Christ Superstar).
Covenant House is the largest privately-funded agency in New Jersey that provides food, shelter, immediate crisis care, and an array of other important services to homeless youth between the ages of 18 and 21.
Night of Broadway Stars fundraisers have raised well over $10 million for Covenant House agencies all across America over the past ten years.
