The Yardley Players presents "And Then There Were None," based on the Agatha Christie classic "Ten Little Indians," at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre on Friday October14 at 8 p.m.; tonight and October 15 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Oct. 9 and 16 at 2 p.m.

Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night show on Oct. 7.

Hailed as one of the finest and best selling thrillers ever written, the play reveals the psychology of a criminal mind at work and the unsuspecting visitors who are caught in his web. The plot revolves around ten seemingly unrelated strangers, but all have past misdeeds that have gone unpunished. Lured to a private island, the guests quickly surmise that their pleasant weekend outing has a far more sinister purpose. Themes of hypocrisy, guilt and justice in an unjust world are explored as characters' past indiscretions come back to haunt them. "And Then There Were None" has been performed on stages around the world for more than 60 years, and has been adapted into several plays, films, and a video game.

The dynamic cast features Mike Almstedt, of Hamilton, as Narracott; Diana Cooper, of Hamilton, as Vera Claythorne; Robert Goodwin, of Highland Park, as Dr. Armstrong; Kevin Hallam, of Hamilton, as Blore; Kathleen Kutalek, of Hightstown, as Emily Brent; Marilyn Licciardello, of Pennington, as Mrs. Rogers; William Mercado, of Hightstown, as Marston; Walter Smyth, of Trevose, Pa., as MacKenzie; Mark Swift, of Hamilton, as Lombard; Theo Varga, of Hamilton, as Wargrave; and Wayne Wood, of Fairless Hills, Pa., as Rogers.

The production is directed by Michael DiIorio. Marge Swider is producer, sound designer and technician and Patty Walsh is stage manager. Other crew members are: Mike Almstedt as set designer; Louisa Murey as costumer; Chuck Dorner as lighting designer/technician; Amy Zalot as publicity coordinator; John Blazejewski as publicity photographer; and Marian Wright as prop mistress and set properties manager.

Tickets are $16 for adults; $14 for seniors, and $12 for students and children. Free parking is available next to the theater.
