Richard Olate came from a family of 22 children in Chile. As a young boy he adopted a stray dog and began teaching him tricks, and soon they were performing at local schools and fairs. He always dreamed of leading his own dog variety show and in 1989 he immigrated to America with his dogs. Soon after, he met his wife Rebecca, an acrobat, in a show they were booked in for two years. They married and now their son, Nicholas, is his father's right hand man on stage. They tour around the country and are regularly seen at major sporting events as well as on national television programs such as FOX's Cause for Paws, The TODAY Show and The Tonight Show.
