Fair Lawn Recreation Departments resident theatre company, OLD LIBRARY THEATRE, announces another fall Readers Series, two edgy one act plays titled Ascension and Helping Out. Come and see two edgy one act plays for the price of one!
In "Ascension," a friendship stalls on its way up the mountain and in "Helping Out," Ian enlists his flamboyant friend Daniel to help smooth over the introduction of his new girlfriend to his parents. The evening will be a crowd pleaser full of laughs and memories, there are limited seats for each performance with both expected to be sold out.
Directed by Linda Wielkotz. "Ascension" was written by Rick Leidenfrost-Wilson, "Helping Out" written by James Michael Shoberg. Featuring J. Edmund Fond, Bahar Isteben, Erica Kresch,
Eric Parkin, Craig Tiede and
Alan Van Antwerp.
Old Library Theatre sponsors semi-staged readings of original, lesser-known and lesser-produced works, such as the recent Legends & Bridge as well as the current offering. Performances are Saturday and Sunday, November 30 and December 1. Saturdays performance is at 7:30 and Sunday is at 2:00. General admission tickets are $5.00 by reservation, or for an added service fee can be purchased online via our website. Seating is limited to 40 for each show and is expected to be sold out. Reservations strongly suggested.

Old Library Theatre was started in 1967 by a handful of dreamers who wanted to make the joy of theatre performance available to everyone. It is a community theatre organization committed to producing quality productions at an affordable price.
