Christmas has arrived at Music Mountain Theatre! After a successful run of A Christmas Story, the Musical and Frosty and Rudolph, MMT's traditional A Christmas Carol returns November 30-December 16.
Based on the Charles Dickens classic, this MMT tradition is bound to get you into the holiday spirit. Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!", Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his past, present, and future.
Returning for his 9th year, David Whiteman, a longtime Lambertville resident and MMT Company Member, plays Ebenezer Scrooge. Also starring are Jill Palena, David McCloughan, Jr., Alison McMullen and Sharon Rudda, as the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, respectively (McMullen and Rudda share the role). Louis Palena also returns for a 9th year as Bob Cratchit and Peter DiDonato returns for a 2nd year as Tiny Tim.
MMT will offer an ASL interpreted performance of A Christmas Carol on Sunday, December 9 at 3pm.
Don't miss this Christmas classic right here in Lambertville! Performances run November 30 through December 16 with Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 3pm. Tickets are $25 for adults and $23 for seniors and students and are available online at www.musicmountaintheatre.org or by calling the box office at 609-397-3337.
