4th Wall Theatre presents SHE LOVES ME in Concert, 10/24-26

4th Wall Theatre, a non union professional theatre in Bloomfield, NJ is presenting She Loves Me in concert. The musical originally premiered on Broadway in 1963, and subsequently had productions in the West End in 1964 and award-winning revivals on each side of the Atlantic in the 1990's, as well as a benefit revival by The Roundabout in 2011. 4th Wall's production will be directed by Josh Penzell.

She Loves Me tells the story of Georg and Amalia, two feuding clerks in a European parfumerie, who secretly find solace in anonymous pen pals, not knowing that they are actually writing to each other. The musical is an adaptation of the play Parfumerie by Hungarian playwright Miklos Laszlo. Other adaptions of the story include the 1940 James Stewart-Margaret Sullivan film The Shop around the Corner and the 1949 Judy Garland-Van Johnson musical version In the Good Old Summertime. It surfaced yet again in 1998 as the Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan feature film You've Got Mail.

Markus Hauck is the musical director for 4th Wall's production and the show features Molly Dunn, Will Flamm, Michael Campbell, Madeline Orton, Ted Cancila, Rich Maloy, Todd Shumpert, Peter Downing, Brian James Grace, Jodi Freeman Maloy, Sharon DeRosa Smolen, Jennifer Ambler, Julie Galorenzo, Adrian Rifat, Heather Jones, and Oliver Mayes. The concert version will have a limited run - October 24, 25 at 8:00 pm and October 26 at 3:00 pm at the Westminster Arts Center in Bloomfield. NJ.
