It is because of fundraising events such as this, and the generosity of many, as well as funding from grants and foundations, that make it possible for ELTC to maintain modest ticket prices and hire and house Equity professional actors, most coming from New York City, Philadelphia, and Central Jersey. Curran Investment Management, Aleathea's at The Inn of Cape May, The Henry Sawyer Inn, and The Washington Inn are Season Sponsors. La Mer Beachfront Inn and Fins Bar and Grille are Show Sponsors for 2016.
Founded in 1980, ELTC was the first Equity professional theater in the country dedicated to early American plays and new works based on American history and literature. ELTC's production of "Mr. Lincoln" runs through May 21, Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., and up next is the musical "Rodgers' Romance." The location is the historic First Presbyterian Church, 500 Hughes St., Cape May, where the company is in residence.
