"Theatre Sports! Theatre Sports! Theatre Sports!"
This is a once in a lifetime experience that you do not want to miss because no two shows are alike! Audience suggestions make each show unique. Watch as these two improvisational teams square off in an intellectual battle that could leave some players with bruised egos and battered brains as these two teams compete for the most points. The audience awards these coveted points after each round by displaying a placard with their favorite team’s colors on them.
But wait that is not all! If you, like Richard II, think that the scene you are watching is your winter of discontent, then you get to hurl a sock at the performing actors and they must immediately stop performing, and take the long walk of shame back to their dugout. The point is awarded to the opposing team, who are free to gloat and perform a celebratory dance without fear of penalty.
Just Kim and Larry’s productions can’t think of a better way to kick off your New Year’s weekend than sharing a night of laughter with friends and family at the Hatbox. If this doesn’t sway you to come experience this unique improvisational format, then we dare you to come and try to harness the power of the SOCK!
