Inspired by The Moth, True Stories Told Live.
Do you have a true tale to tell?
Craft a five minute soliloquy of your firsthand experience centered around the evening’s theme, Glass Half Empty/Glass Half Full. A tale that contains a conflict and a resolution that will allow the audience to share the journey with you. Practice it so that you can remember it without paper (no notes allowed) and to keep it on time.
Come to Tales Told at the Hatbox Theatre and put your name in the hat. If you are one of the lucky audience members picked, you will have five minutes to wow the crowd with your adventure, remembrance, or lesson learned. If you are not picked, sit back and enjoy the tales. You will be on the edge of your seat, you will laugh out loud, and you will gain a new perspective. What more could you ask from a show?
