The 2024 Regional Awards honor productions which had their first performance between October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024. Our editors have set the categories and now YOU get to nominate and vote for your favorites! Nominations are reader-submitted and will be open through October 31.
After the nomination period ends, BroadwayWorld's editors will proof the list for eligibility and errors, then voting will begin in early November and run through December 31. Winners will be announced in January!
Eligibility:
-In categories without a designation for the type of theater, both professional and non-professional productions are eligible.
-In categories designated for professional theaters - community theaters and companies that do not pay their performers are not eligible.
-In non-professional categories, participants are not eligible if they have been compensated for their performances.
*NEW* -No production that has taken place in an elementary, middle, or high school as part of the curriculum or extra-curricular programming is eligible, inclusive of non-professional categories.
-A production staged as part of an educational program for youth under age 18, where participation is based on enrollment of any kind, is not eligible in any category, inclusive of non-professional categories. (Example: a production of a Junior/Kids musical staged at an after-school or weekend program.)
-Where there is a disagreement on 'opening night' credits, we defer to billing as provided to us by the producers/producing organization.
-Productions (inclusive of streaming productions) that had no in-person audience for a publicly ticketed performance within the region in which they are submitted are not eligible.

- Cast your vote by simply checking one nominee in each of the award categories. If you have no choice in any particular category, simply choose 'No Nominee'
Cast your vote only once. After submitting your vote, you will receive an electronic confirmation via e-mail. If you submit your e-mail address incorrectly, your vote will be disqualified. All personal information will be kept completely private. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO VOTE. Nominations for the BWW Awards are reader submitted for more than 30 days prior to the start of voting. If you notice any errors or mistakes that our team has missed, or would like to be removed from voting, please let us know at awards@broadwayworld.com.
All voting results will be tabulated, and will be audited at the conclusion of the voting process to remove fake, duplicate and other invalid votes. The results you see here may alter slightly or significantly as a result of that auditing process. No automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of voting are permitted. Participants who do not comply with these Terms and Conditions, or who attempt to interfere with the voting process or the operation of the Site in any way will be disqualified and their votes will not be counted. BWW reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend voting should any virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the voting process. No user or participant shall attempt to manipulate final results by offering incentives of any kind or using any automated or semi-automated means to cast a vote. All decisions regarding the voting process shall be final and shall not be subject to challenge or appeal.
