Weathervane Announces Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks As Part of 2019 54th Season

Producing Artistic Director Ethan Paulini has announced Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks as the 2nd show in the 2019 54th Season.

This funny and touching Broadway hit by Richard Alfieri, Six Dance Lessons joins the rotating repertory on July 10. This title joins the already announced Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, The Drowsy Chaperone, Bright Star, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Sister Act. Cast, creative team and a full schedule will be announced shortly. Season 54 officially opens on July 6 with the annual Bubble and Squeak.

Performances continue for 8 weeks through August 31 culminating in audience favorite Best Of. Other programming including Patchwork Players, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Weathervane Theatre was founded in in 1965 by Gibbs Murray and the late Tom Haas. For over half a century, it has presented high quality professional productions of plays and musicals. One of the few remaining alternating rep companies in the United States, the Weathervane is recognized as a historical institution nationwide, boasting among it's alumni Elizabeth Stanley, Tally Sessions, 4 time Tony nominee Judy Kuhn and recent Tony Award Winner Ari'el Stachel.
