Seacoast Repertory Theatre has announced that their award winning Red Light series will be presenting White Hot Winter: A Ru Paul's Drag Race Revue one night only January 16th at 8:00pm. This very special evening will feature a full drag revue starring Boston's best drag queens, and headlined by Jujubee one of the all-star contestants for Ru Paul's Drag Race Season 2.

Ru Paul's Drag Race is an award winning reality television series that pits 12 of the nation's best drag performers up against each other in a battle of wits, talent and nerve. Each performer has a chance to showcase their individual style of drag, and each week contestants are eliminated based on their performance in each week's challenges. Only one drag performer can reign supreme! Hosted by the infamous drag star herself, Ru Paul, the series is about to launch its 7th season.

After the smashing success of Midsummer Night Queens, it was a "no brainer to revive the series this winter" says Knate Higgins, Special Series Curator and host of the event (as his drag alter ego, Bunny Wonderland). "We are ecstatic to continue the series, as it was truly a highlight for Red Light this past year. I think we have found a great niche for series and for our theater." In addition to Jujubee, the show will feature regional drag queens Delta Miles, Rainbow Frite, and Lili Whiteass from Boston. White Hot Winter is hosted by Portsmouth's own Queen of The "B's", Bunny Wonderland.
