The Seacoast Repertory Theatre (the Rep), the area's only year round regional theatre, today announced the launch of its most ambitious campaign ever to grow its subscriber base. Timed to precede it's equally ambitious 2009/10 season of shows that collectively have been nominated for over 60 different awards, the subscription campaign offers incentives and discounts to new and returning patrons who commit to the entire season's set of performances.
Through this program the management and trustees of the Rep are seeking to ensure the Rep's continued ability to provide quality performances, community programs, and education even in these uncertain economic times. "We felt that this was actually an excellent time to reach out to the seacoast community," stated Janet Hand, Rep Board President "We have a strong following due to the quality of our shows, and at a time when people are looking for both value and quality we wanted to find a way to offer the best possible entertainment to the public and improve our ability to continue to stage them now and into the future."
Subscribers gain preferential seating for all seven of our outstanding Mainstage productions at up to 40% off the regular ticket price. That means subscribers can pay as little as $10 a show - compared to the individual ticket price it is like getting three shows for free-a tremendous value for a tremendous upcoming season.
