Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is a ghostly fable beloved by many. It tells the story of a greedy, cold hearted Ebenezer Scrooge and how he finds redemption through the love of those closest to him and the magic of Christmas past, present, and future.

For 20 years the Player's Ring has produced A Christmas Carol in different variations. This year they bring back a crowd favorite! Created in 2014 by writer, director and actor Christopher Savage this Adaptation combines the words of Charles Dickens himself with the very best of Player's Ring Founder F. Gary Newton's beloved script. The combination is enchanting. Keeping with Player's Ring tradition, acclaimed actress and Ring favorite Whitney Smith directs a cast mixed with seasoned professionals and new talent. Seacoast favorite Roland Goodbody will play Scrooge himself and will be joined by Samuel Bennett, G. Matthew Gaskell, Tomer Oz, Spencer Bateman, Jordan Formichelli, Kelsey Domeny, Zachery Koehler, Samantha Smith, Deirdre Hickok Bridge, Grady Savage, Avery Mitchell, and Emily Sloane.

About the Player's Ring: Since 1992, the mission of the Player's Ring has been to promote the efforts of local artists through the production of original works, while providing an affordable theater space to local production companies. "The Ring" provides an environment where artists can thrive, grow, take risks, and make daring choices.
