The Park Theatre Welcomes New CEO

It was announced on Monday that Stevens Pell Jackson, Jr. joins The Park Theatre as CEO, Managing Director and employee #1 on February 15, 2016. Board Chair, Caroline Hollister, noted "Steve's coming on board is probably the second most significant event in the life of The Park Theatre -the first being the acquisition of the property itself on exactly the same date a mere ten years ago." Jackson, a resident of Jaffrey since 2012, began assisting the Park Theatre in 2013 directing the board in its development of a branding platform for the Theatre. He comes to the Theatre after a career in advertising/marketing as well as founder of a performing arts and film center in Cape May, New Jersey. An actor himself, e appeared at the Theatre's 2015 Annual Meeting in the staged reading of O'Henry's novella "The Gift" as the young husband. Most recently, he was Director of Marketing for Peterborough Players.

Steve Jackson created the Beach Theatre Foundation back in 2007 to help save the historic theatre in Cape May, New Jersey. He managed the fundraising development and operation of the theatre. Through his efforts, Bruce Springsteen signed on to contribute to the theatre's fundraising by allowing Springsteen's epic Live in Barcelona concert film to be presented multiple times with 100% of ticket sales going to the Foundation.

For over 20 years he managed the Anheuser-Busch account at DDB (Doyle Dane Bernbach), one the largest, most respected and award-winning advertising agencies in the world. Jackson's work there included managing the global account for Anheuser-Busch and their campaigns for the United States, Ireland, United Kingdom and China.

His team's advertising campaigns for Budweiser & Bud Light won every major industry award including Cannes Gold Lions, Effies, Clios and Emmys. The"Whassup!?" and "Spuds MacKenzie" campaigns have become cultural icons. His team's work was showcased most notably at every Super Bowl Sunday and consistently won USA Today's "Super Bowl AdMeter".

Since 2010 Jackson has operated his own marketing consultancy firm, Pell Partners. Clients have included non-profits, entertainment properties, and Peterborough, NH based PeoplesVC (Saved and qaZING brands).

Jackson also served on the Government Relations Committee of the American Association of Advertising Agencies and the Marketing Council of one of the Smithsonian Museums in Washington, DC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College.
