The Palace Theatre welcomes The Producers, a musical adaptation of Mel Brooks' 1968 film "The Producers," on Friday, March 21st at 7:30pm. This show, which runs through April 5, is the winner of a record breaking 12 Tony Awards. Fading producer Max Bialystock, convinces accountant Leo Bloom to partner with him in producing a show for Hilter. The Producers is a show about scoundrels with ill intentions that turn into raging success! The humor of the show stems from ridiculous accents and many show business jokes.
William Hartery is elated to return for a second run as Max in the Producers. A Manchester native, William has toured nationally in Cats as Gus/Growltiger/Bustopher Jones, and internationally with Disney Cruise Lines, where he originated the role of Hades in Disney's first all villains musical, Villians Tonight! Most recently he was seen at TUTS in Houston, TX as Santa Claus in Elf the Musical.
Brendan Malafronte is beyond excited to be making his Palace Theatre debut with The Producers as Leo! A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC, Brendan has had one foot in musical theatre, and the other in professional puppetry and puppet design. Favorite credits include John Tartaglia's Imaginocean, Losing It: With John Stamos, The 39 Steps (Clown 2), Singin' in the Rain (Cosmo Brown), Lend Me a Tenor (Max).
Tickets are available at the box office located at 80 Hanover Street in Manchester, N.H., online at www.palacetheatre.org or by calling 603.668.5588.
