Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is an entertaining family musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber featuring lyrics by Tim Rice. The story is based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph. It retells of the biblical story of Joseph, his devoted father, his jealous brothers, and his incredible series of adventures.
"Traditional musical theatre audiences and families will love Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which has a family-friendly storyline told through a variety of musical styles. The theatre will be filled with spectacular costumes and high energy dance numbers. For the Palace Theatre's interpretation of this classic Broadway hit, we will incorporate more 50 children from Southern New Hampshire into the show filled with a large cast of professional actors recruited from auditions locally and in New York City. The children will bring a wonderful energy to the show," states Carl Rajotte, Artistic Director.
