The Met: Live in HD's GIULIO CESARE to Screen at Peterborough Players, 4/27

The Met: Live in HD opera series will present Giulio Cesare by George Frideric Handel, to be broadcast live on the Peterborough Players big screen on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at noon. This is the final opera of the 2012-13 series. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students.

The world's leading countertenor, David Daniels, sings the title role opposite Natalie Dessay as an irresistibly exotic Cleopatra. This production, which opened at the Met on April 4th, received rave reviews. Baroque specialist Harry Bicket conducts.

Sunflowers Restaurant of Jaffrey will provide a variety of delicious savory and sweet "Opera Bites" which will be on sale in the Peterborough Players lobby both pre-show and during intermission.

Guilio Cesare by George Frideric Handel will screen Saturday, April 27, 2013, at noon at Peterborough Players, 55 Hadley Rd., Peterborough, NH. Tickets: $25 Adults; $20 Students.
